Der Pixie-Cut ist ein Kurzhaarschnitt, bei dem verschiedene Haarlängen miteinander kombiniert werden. Grundlegend ist deshalb nämlich der richtige Schnitt. Im einzelnen sieht der Schnitt so aus: Die Nackenhaare werden eher kurz gehalten, meist sind diese ungefähr 2-4 cm lang. Das Deck- und Seitenhaar bleibt allerdings etwas länger, sodass die Seiten wunderbar als voluminöser Pony, wie bei unserem Fotobeispiel getragen werden können.

Kurze Haare waren schon in den 60er Jahren beliebt, hier fand der Pixie-Cut wie wir ihn heute kennen seine ersten Züge.
